Description

This book has a simple purpose: to gather stories and recipes from around the world, all centered on one beloved category of food—dumplings. The definition of a dumpling can be debated. Does it need a filling? Does size matter? Is a pop tart a dumpling?
 

For this book, I’m taking a broad approach to what qualifies as a dumpling (don’t worry, no pop tarts here). My focus is on the impact these recipes have on people—the stories, traditions, love, and life that go into them. This collection is just a start, not complete by any means. I want it to grow and evolve over time. Who knows what it will look like in 5 or 10 years?
