Melodic Design became a concept after meeting Ph.D. Candidate Hooman Rafraf while dancing. We were talking about our careers and he said "Oh, have you ever heard of graphic scores? You should make me one!" I did not know what a graphic score was but for the next 20 minutes, he showed me pictures and spoke about music. After that, it was set, I needed to do it!
